Bodies urge for permanent solution

Several civil society organisations of the State have expressed reservation over the ongoing boundary dispute between Jessami villagers of Manipur and Melouri villagers of Nagaland.
In a statement, United People's Front (UPF) Manipur urged the State Government to provide adequate security to guard the border.
Further, it also urged the State Government to find out the root cause of the dispute and bring permanent solution to the problem.
Condemning the assault of Jessami villagers by neighbouring Nagaland's villagers, Kangleipak Women Welfare Association urged the State Government to bring permanent solution to the boundary dispute which has been creating problems every now and then.
In the same vein, the Ningol Yaipha Lamjing Apunba Kangleipak has also drawn the attention of the State Government to resolve the issue.
