Sectoral allocation approved

A meeting of the State Cabinet today has given its approval to sectoral allocation of the plan amount of Rs 3210 crores granted to the State by the Union Planning Commission for the financial year 2011-12 .
The Cabinet meeting presided over by Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh also further gave its approval to allocation of Rs 800 crores for Special Plan Assistance (SPA) .
Taking into consideration of the Supreme Court order restricting construction of religious structures, quarters and vehicle parking lots in public places, the Cabinet has recommended constitution of a committees comprising Deputy Commissioners concerned as chairmen and SPs, District Town Planners and Panchayat members concerned as members for necessary action in this regard.
The Cabinet has also given its approval to expansion of the ART services in the district hospitals of Bishnupur and Senepati and appointment of 16 staff including MO and pharmacists on contract basis in this connection.
A final decision on requisition of services of contact, part time and aided teachers in connection with the conduct of Class X and XII exams, however, has been derfered.
