No efforts spared to pull up Livingstone : Gaikhangam

Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam has stated that all measures have been taken up by the Government to arrest senior NSCN (IM) functionary Livingstone Anal, who allegedly molested and assaulted film actress Khangembam Momoko on December 18 at Chandel.
"No efforts have been spared to pull up Livingstone.
We are doing our job," Gaikhangam told reporters today afternoon before attending a Church service even as Manipur celebrated Christmas in a low key manner under the shadow of growing agitation against the December 18 incident.
"The Ministry of Home Affairs has already been intimated to do the needful to arrest Livingstone.
Criminal is a criminal and the law will take its own course to punish him (Livingstone) and we are looking for a positive result soon," Gaikhangam, who also holds the Home portfolio, said.
Self-styled NSCN (IM) 'Lt Col' Livingstone (40) allegedly molested and assaulted Momoko during a musical concert held at Chandel district headquarters on December 18 .
He also fired at two actors, Guna Sharma and Soraisham Prakash , who tried to stop him though they escaped unhurt.
On Monday, Manipur Home Department declared Livingstone, a resident of Japhou bazaar at Chandel district headquarters, as a wanted man and announced a cash reward of Rs five lakh for his arrest and for providing information leading to his arrest.
The police have already registered a case against him u/s 307/426/511/400 IPC read with section 25 (I-C) Arms Act.
Condemning Livingstone's act in the strongest term, Gaikhangam, said the crime committed by the NSCN (IM) cadre is against humanity.
Stating that bandhs have severely affected both the hill and valley people, the Home Minister appealed to all concerned particularly the UNC not to impose any bandh and blockade.
