Interacting with The Sangai Express, managing director of the fair Kh Athouba explained that the main objective behind organising the food fair is to promote and popularise the traditional dishes of various communities living in Manipur.
The public response to the fair has been overwhelming.
But unfortunately, we have not received any response from the hotels around Imphal area to the request for including some of the dishes displayed in the fair in their menus, Athouba disclosed.
After the fair, we are planning to organise a seminar to create awareness among the people on the different dishes of various communities in the State.
