Reacting to the NSCN-K, Zeliangrong Region�s statement which said that no one would be allowed to break up the unity of the Zeliangrong Region, the Federal Government of Nagaland FGN/NNC of the Zeliang Region has said "there is no such thing called Zeliangrong Region but separately called Zeliang Region and Rongmei Region".
In a statement issued by Rumtinglungbe, who is the FGN/NNC Tartar (member of Parliament of the outfit), it said that the Zeliang people "have separate and distinct lands of their own while the Rongmei people have their own distinct land".
The FGN/NNC of the Zeliang Region further said that from their forefathers' time there had been distinct boundary lines between the Zeliang Region and the Rongmei region but never a thing called Zeliangrong Region.
Meanwhile, the next round of talks between the Government of India and the NSCN (IM) will be held on March 9 in New Delhi, according to Nagaland Post.
The daily said that both sides have so far held a series of talks, both in India and abroad, to find a lasting solution to the decades old Naga political problem.
