The Zomi Students� Federation, General HQ, on behalf of the people of Churachandpur District, has expressed profound gratitude to the Chief Minister of Manipur, O Ibobi and the SPF Government for fulfilling the demand for handing over of Guite road to BRO, which the Federation has been insisting for the past many years, ZSF GHQ General Secretary, Smith K Simte said.
The Federation also thanked Works Minister K Ranjit for his personal delivery of the "notification" on the 62nd Zomi Nam Ni celebration.
In a press release, Smith K Simte stated that on this achievement, the Federation could not ignore the efforts and contribution of Power Minister Phungzathang Tonsing, MLAs V Hangkhanlian and T Hangkhanpau, District Administration, Zomi Civil Societies (ZC, ZYA, ZEPADA, ZMA, ZAA) CDSU, KSO and all other individuals.
The Federation also thanked all those concerned well-wishers and advisers for their tireless support and motivation.
"Our kudos goes to our BIG BROTHERS in Delhi," the press release stated.
The Federation requested the SPF Government to expedite the necessary formalities for transfer of Guite Road to BRO for which the works could be implemented at the earliest.
