Imphal, October 17:
The All Naga Students' Association, Manipur today discussed the future course of action to be taken up in the face of the complete silence maintained by the State Govt over its proposal to hold the next round of talks.
A reliable source on being contacted by The Sangai Express said that the matter was discussed threadbare during the student body's presidential meeting at Senapati district headquarters today.
The source however refused to divulge the resolutions adopted during the meeting which was held from 10.30 am till 2 pm.
Except for the Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong, which has other previous engagements, representatives of all the constituent units of ANSAM were present at the meeting, said the source.
During the first week of this month, ANSAM had put forward a proposal to hold the next round of negotiations to the Chief Minister but till date no response has been received from the Government.
The first talk between the Chief Minister and the student body was held at the guest house of the Army Headquarters at Leimakhong on Sept 30 this year.
