Imphal, January 10:
Chief Secretary AP Sharma left for New Delhi yesterday to hold parleys with the Union Home Ministry officials on the law and order situation of the State, disclosed an official source adding that Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee is likely to visit the State next month.
The source also added that Chief Secretary's visit to New Delhi is most likely to be in connection with the Prime Minister's visit to the State.
Talking to The Sangai Express, an official from New Delhi informed that discussions have already begun at the Prime Minister's office with regard to the PM's visit which is likely to be in February.
He however added that exact timing and date of the PM's visit is still uncertain.
