Voluntary Help Unit Committee, RIMS today extended monetary assistants to the injured victims of July 23 shooting incident as well as in the people agitations in the aftermath of the incidents.
President of the committee M Subash in a briefing to the media persons at the office chamber of the RIMS medical superintendent said that the committee has extended medicines and blood to the four injured people of July 23 incident treated at RIMS hospital amounting Rs 46,822 .
In assisting the injured people in the people agitation which was erupted in the aftermath of the incident, the committee has also spent Rs 17,601 in providing medicines and blood.
Apart from this, the committee has also incurred Rs 13,387 to three non-locals who were shot to injure by the miscreants in separate incidents recently, he added.
The president while stating this also sought co-operation from the people to the committee in solidarity to effort of helping the injured victims treating at the RIMS hospital.
Except Rs 1000 donated by a women group, Naoremthong Khullem Leikai Nupisingi Apunba Yaipha Khunai, no help gets from any other by the unit.
