Bishenpur district hospital inaugurates blood storage unit

Imphal, June 19 2015 :
A blood storage unit was inaugurated at Bishenpur District Hospital on Friday.
With this facility available the storage unit will have capacity of 80 units of blood.
Mention may also be made that the hospital registers a good number of patient turn up as it borders with Tamenglong, Churachandpur, Imphal West and Senapati district said Pulinkanta former revenue Minister.
The blood storage unit inauguration function was organised by District Hospital Management Society.
Dr H Babychand Medical Superintendent of Bishenpur District Hospital, Modhumangol former chief medical officer of Bishenpur, besides others were also present during the function.
Dr Rishikesh blood storage in charge informed that the Bishenpur blood storage unit is equipped with two freezers with storage capacity of 30 blood units and 50 blood units respectively.
A blood donation camp will also be organised soon.
