Free remedial coaching for minority students at Jiribam

A six-month 'free remedial coaching' for the minority students reading in Class VI-X was inaugurated at Ahmadabad High School, Jiribam.
The coaching centre was launched by Minorities and OBC Economic Development Society (MOBEDS) under the aegis of Department of Minorities and Other Backward Classes (MOBC), Government of Manipur, reports Jiri News Network on Friday.
Jalal Uddin, social worker and Mohammad Ali, former Headmaster of Ahmadabad High School attended as chief guest and president at the opening function.
Seven teachers are being engaged for English, Mathematics and Science subjects along with one coordinator for the coaching centre.
In his speech, Jalal Uddin Khan urged the students to maintain regular attendance to reap the benefits of remedial coaching, which MOBEDS has opened at the Ahmadabad High School and sought for co-operation from the people for smooth functioning of the coaching.
Mohammad Ali in his speech appealed to the parents to be more cautious about the education of their children, as education guides the children for a better life in future.
He also appealed to the students to be punctual during the coaching.
