Imphal, November 10 2008:
Coming out strongly against the allegations levelled by the UNLF, the KCP (MC) today questioned whether it is feasible for an outfit, which was formed in the first place to fight the Government to India, to sup with its security forces.
The wild allegations prove that the UNLF has no intelligence network, it added.
In a statement issued by Lanheiba Meitei, secretary military affairs of the KCP (MC), the outfit said that the public knows what relations the UNLF has with the Government of Manipur, which is a stooge of India, ever since its formation on November 24, 1964 .
It is not for the UNLF to paint the KCP (MC) in any colour.
It should be left to the public to decide, who is the UNLF and who is KCP (MC), said the statement.
The UNLF is so disturbed by the bomb attacks at Babupara and between the Assam Rifles transit point and the Manipur police commandos complex, said the statement and charged that this is because, the attacks hurt the State Government, which in turn hurt the UNLF.
Does the stand of the UNLF then mean that whenever the KCP (MC) wants to plant a bomb, it should first ask the UNLF whether it would hurt the State Government or any of their surrendered cadres, asked KCP (MC) in a mocking tone.
The KCP (MC) and its armed wing the Kangleipak Feengang Lanmee (KFL), function under the belief of inflicting damages on the enemy, to unleash violence at the place where the enemy stays and to eliminate all informers of the enemy, said the statement and added that in doing this, if the UNLF is going to obstruct their activities, then wouldn't it be better for them to announce the KCP (MC) as their enemy and start striking out.
To this the KCP (MC) will not remain silent, said the statement and added that the KFL has still not forgotten the three comrades eliminated by the UNLF earlier.
The UNLF is best advised not to issue baseless statements and waste their time over useless things, said KCP (MC) and added that instead of this vain pursuit it would do better for them to remember the slogan 'Preparation for battle'.
It is not the UNLF to say that KCP (MC) is terrorising and looting people, said the statement and added that this should come from the public and not anyone else.
Just as the KCP (MC) owned up for the Ragailong blast, can the UNLF also acknowledge that its cadres raped women at Parbung, countered the outfit.
Warning all those close to the UNLF, the statement said that the Central Security Council will meet soon to take a decision on targeting anyone close to the UNLF.
The outfit also asked all the 'pseudo' groups to stop claiming that they are the real KCP.
The statement also thanked the public for their co-operation and appealed to them to continue supporting and co-operating with KCP (MC).
