Imphal, October 25 2010:
Cadet Parikshit Thoudam, a class X student of Sainik School, Imphal has bagged the second position in the National Science Seminar 2010 held at Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum, Bangalore on October 8 and 9, informed a PIB (DW) release.
Having excelled at both the district and State level science seminar conducted in August this year, Parikshit represented Manipur at the national level event which was organised by National Council of Science Museum in collaboration with ISRO, BHEL, HAL, Astra Zeneca, biocon and Infosys.

Out of 35 participants who participated at the Bangalore event, 10 have been selected for a screening test at Kolkata for selection as the indian representative at the international level seminar to be held at Seoul, South Korea, the release maintained while adding that Cadet Parikshit was presented certificate, memento, book and monthly scholarship of Rs 1000 for a one year period.
