ACTIP has sent written intimations to all the political parties today, informed Nanda Kamei.

The decision to boycott political parties was adopted in the public meeting held on November 6 at Senapati.
It also resolved to boycott the forthcoming visit of UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh besides launching various other forms of agitation, he conveyed.
Taking part in the press meet, ACTIP co-convenor O Bikramjit, taking a dig at the often repeated advantages of Tipaimukh Project in every public meeting and political conferences by Chief Minister O Ibobi without ever mentioning a single word on the lurking ill-effects, questioned the Chief Minister if he was bribed by NEEPCO with crores of rupees.
He further asserted that the public hearing on the dam held on November 17 at Churachandpur was an ugly joke.
Saying that ACTIP and Zeliangrong Union would participate in the public hearing scheduled for November 22 at Tamenglong, he, however, cautioned that ACTIP would challenge the proceedings in a fitting manner if the authority attempts to conduct the hearing in seclusion as it did at Churachandpur.
