Members of the Royal Riders Manipur would be touring hill areas of Manipur taking the message and theme of the Manipur Sangai Festival 2010 scheduled to be held from November 21 to 30 under the aegis of Department of Tourism.

Speaking to media persons at Manipur Press Club here this afternoon, publicity secretary of the Royal Riders Manipur, RK Momo said that they have been touring and providing assistance in different forms to remote areas of hill districts besides undertaking environment campaign since the association was founded."In recognition of the activities of the Royal Riders, the Government of Manipur agreed to our proposal to allow us spread the message of the tourism festival", Momo said.
For the ten-day long tourism festival, members of Royal Riders would tour the nine districts in three phases and organise awareness campaign about the festival.
In the first phase, the Royal Riders would travel to Ukhrul.
The second phase would cover Tamenglong-Tamei and Senapati.
The third phase would cover Churachandpur, Sugnu and Chandel.
After these tours, the bullet rally would wind up at Hapta Kangjeibung, the main venue of the festival.
Saying that the first phase of the tour would be flagged off by Chief Secretary DS Poonia, Momo appealed to people of the areas where Royal Rider members may land/stop during their tour.
