Thoubal Commandos nab 3 KYKL sympathizers

Thoubal District Police Commandoes on Monday arrested three KYKL sympathizers including a personnel of Village Defence Force (VDF) at Pallel Bazar for their alleged role in recruiting woman cadres for banned KYKL.
In a statement, Dr Ak Jhalajit, Superintendent of Police, Thoubal District, identified the arrested three KYKL sympathizers, who were traveling in a Red colour Tata Magic (B/No M N- 04A/5968) as Moirangthem Suresh (27) s/o M Meijao of Kumbi Ame Leikai (VDF No 0154 of Bishnupur district posted at Kumbi Police Station); Wahengbam Suresh (21), s/o W Malasana of Kumbi Setapur and Khangembam Bocha (26) s/o Kh Tombi of Kumbi Ame Leikai.
It also said that Thoubal Police Commandoes stopped the vehicle which was coming from Moreh for checking at Pallel Bazar.
On questioning its occupants, the VDF personnel disclosed that they had gone to Moreh on 3rd February by the same vehicle along with two girls namely Konthoujam Sanatombi Devi alias Echan (15) d/o K Kunjeshor and Pukhrambam Rita Devi alias Paknao (26) d/o P Sarat Singh and handed over the girls to one S/S Cpl of KYKL identified as Sova at Moreh for recruitment in the outfit and they were given Rs.5,000 for each girls.
