Condoled on the death of noted academician, human right defender, Prof N Sanajaoba continued to pour in media house today also by several organizations, students' bodies and political parties.
The United Committee Manipur (UCM) observed a condolence service at its office with its president Yumnamcha Dilipkumar in the chair.
In the meeting, works performed by the noted academician with sacrificing spirit was recalled by the members of the body present in the meeting.
They also expressed share to the shock of family of the deceased, a statement of the UCM signed nby N Jiban informed.
The Patriotic Writers' Forum, Irabot Foundation, Manipur, Kanglei Khorjei Kon, Kangeli Indigenous Martial Arts and Cultural Society, Palace Compound, the North Imphal United Clubs and Meira Paibees Organisation (NIUCAMO), All Manipur Muslims Development Organisation, Hatta, Imphal, United Manipuri Muslim Women Association (UMMWA), Tarahei Youth Development Organisation (TYDO), Hiyangthang Tarahei, Thangmeiband and Upripok United Clubs' Organisation (TUCO), Kabui Dharma Sabha Manipur, Patsoi Kendra Development Council, Imphal, National Research Centre, Manipur, Canchipur etc.
also condoled on the death of the former dean of law faculty of Gauahati University.
Political parties, Communists Party of India (CPI) Manipur State Council and Manipur People Party (MPP) and CPI(M), Mayang Imphal Local Committee, also expressed condolence to the sudden demise of the professor.
In a statement of the CPI signed by its secretary L Iboyaima, the dead of Prof Sanajaoba will a gap in the history of Manipur which will not be able to fill up forever.
He had efforted to push up the society since his student-hood.
A meeting of the MPP, Heingang Kendra held today also condoled on the death of the professor on December 13 last.
Sanajaoba was a man who stance for the down throttle poor section of the society, MPP stated in a statement signed by its general secretary (media) Y Mangi.
Manipur Students Federation (MSF) also expressed shocked on the death of the students' leader terming him as pioneer of the social movement in the state.
Seram Mangi IIS (retired) also expressed his sorrow and shock on his death.
He termed Sanajoaba as a man who can influence others.
