Along with an intimation to submit plan proposal forth next fiscal 2011-12 by November 30, the Planning Commi-ssion has issued a guideline to the State Government to prepare the plan amount with an increment of 10 per cent from the plan amount of the current fiscal year (2010-11) .
Following the intimation, the Chief Secretary convened a meeting of relevant officials of different departments yesterday and discussed the matter, conveyed an official source.
The Chief Secretary instructed the departments to submit their respective plan proposals by November 15 .
In line with the guideline of the Planning Commission, the Chief Secretary asked the departments to prepare their plan proposals with an increment of 10 per cent from the current plan amounts.
The final size of the State for the next fiscal may be finalised in a meeting between the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission in January or February next year.
Notably, against the plan size of Rs 2600 crores for the current fiscal year (2010-11), only around 17 per cent has been utilised so far.
