Two students of the Zenith Academy has able secured cent percent in Manipuri subject in the Standard-X exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary School which would be the first ever which students could secured 100 percent in the Manipuri subject.
Out of 50 students of the Zenith School, Sangaiporou offering Manipuri subject in this year CBSE exam, two students secured the cent percent mark while 15 of them secured above 90 percent.
The two students securing cent percent mark in Manipuri subject were topper of the school Thouchom Surbala, elder daughter of Surchandra and Bormani of Sangaiporou Mamang Leikai and Thongam Sona daughter of Th Shyama Khabanganba and Ibemhal of Yurembam.
Surbala secured 83 percent in overall subject.
In an interaction with, Surbala said she did not believe that she will able to get the cent percent in Manipuri subject in the exam conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur.
So, she considered that BSEM took the subject lightly.
The other student Sona said she could not performed well in the exam as her mother expired during her exam.
Principal of the school, Th Arju said teachers in his school taught the students by preparing question models of the CBSE and computerized it.
Weakness of the students was mending up by conducting unit test exam during the academic session.
In the Standard-XII exam also out of 125 student appeared this year 81 of them passed in first division and 32 of them in second division, he added.
