The demands includes immediate withdrawal of AFSPA, 1958 from NE region, immediate transfer of 11 AR from Zeliangrong areas, removal of unnecessary security check posts/gates on national highways, district high ways and inter village roads, befitting punitive action against the 'high handed' Col Chonkar of 11 AR and a demand of 24 hour free movement of vehicles on the national highways, district highways and inter village roads in Zeliangrong areas.
The ZSU seeks full cooperation from schools, colleges and the general public for a successful conduct of the bandh.
