Imphal, February 21 2012:
Reacting to the restriction imposed on over 7000 students have been allegedly registered for appearing in the HSLC examination, 2012 to be conducted under Board of Secondary Education, Manipur (BSEM), Kangleipak Socialist Students' Union (KASSU) has observed that instead of victimizing the students, it would be more appropriate to identity and take up action against the agents, principals/headmasters of the schools and all other individuals who mislead the students.
In a statement, General Secretary of KASSU Shailesh Angom pointed out that despite the restriction imposed, some of the students out of over 7000 who registered for appearing in the examination through back door have already been issued admit cards.
When these students who have already received admit cards would be allowed to appear in the exam, why the rest of the students should be victimized and stopped from giving the examination?, Shailesh questioned.
