Women bodies on Sashima case

Imphal, March 05 2013:
Coming out strongly against the gruesome incident of setting on fire Sashima Keishing by her husband Chandal Kal, an employee of Indian Oil Corporation at Tulihal Airport, Imphal, with IWFNEI, NWU and ITSL have demanded that justice be delivered to Sashima and her young daughter, non-bailable warrant be given to the accused husband and Sashima be employed in IOC in place of her husband.
Sashima Keishing (24) d/o Thanmi and Khathingla Keishing of Silent Village, was born and brought up at Airport Colony, Tulihal Airport Imphal.
She is married to Chandal Kal, who hails from Silchar and is an employee in IOC at Tulihal Airport.
They have a 3-year old daughter and they are living in a rented house at Mantripukhri Bazar Area, Lamlongei.
Sashima was reportedly set on fire by her husband after pouring kerosene on her in the evening of February 27 .
Sashima sustained 40 percent burn and is currently fighting for life at RIMS Hospital.
