MOBC, Fisheries and Rural Development and Panchayati Raj minister hits back to the charges level by Deputy Chairman, State Planning Board, Bijoy Koijam two day back saying that this was none of his business.
Bijoy Koijam has no right to interfere with my business.
This is none of his business.
He had been minister and chairman of government undertaking co-operation and during that period he himself was involved in various scandals.
It is a well known fact, minister Allauddin said.
He said that if Chief Minister happened to ask him to resign as minister, he would have done it without any delay.
"I have done any wrong as a minister in-charge of MOBC and Rural Development and Panchayati Raj.
Chief Minister is recognizing by performance" .
Since, he took over the charge of rural development minister, the MGNERGS programme, which was implemented only in one district of the state, was extended to all the nine districts of the state.
He has been trying his best for benefitting people of minorities and other back classes from various Central sponsored schemes and projects, Allauddin said.
"What Bijoy Koijam was said is too much.
The minister who was addressing at a press conference called at his office chamber at New Secretariat said that fisheries department has prepared a project to develop model fishery village around the Loktak Lake area.
This has been planned considering the shortage of fish supply in the state.
Once the model village is set up, Bishnupur district where the Loktak lake is situated will be the fifth district of the country model villages for fishermen.
While implementing the project, a fund of Rs 200 crore to Rs 500 crore will be required.
The state is facing shortfall in fish product.
The shortfall is estimated at seven to eight tones in a year.
Once the model fishery village is come up, state will be able to produce self sustainable fish, he said.
