Free Medical camp conducted at Tamenglong

Tamenglong, March 14 2011:
The District Mobile Medical Unit Tamenglong under National Rural Health Mission has conducted free medical camp from 11 to 13 March 2011 at Kaimai, Oinamlong, Luangkao and Sibilong villages along the national high way 53, said Dr Chambo Gonmei, District Tuberculosis Officer Tamenglong.
In all 616 patients benefited the outreach camp, 177 patients in Kaimai, 160 in Oinamlong, 116 in Luangkao and 163 patients attended in Sibilong.
Dr Chambo Gonmei said there was no major health problem but skin diseases and poor sanitation was dictated in Kaimai village and eye ailment like cataract also dictated at Luangkao village of Late Rani Gaidinliu under Tousem Sub- Division of Tamenglong district.
In the meantime, the District Health Mission Society Tamenglong under NRHM and RNTCP today organised batch by batch training of Mobile ICTC free Testing on whole blood screening of HIV test for GNMS/ANMs and Lab Technician at District Hospital conference hall.
