The diverse communities of the state following different religions can lead a peaceful life only when the people devotedly venerated their own religion, the Manipur Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker, Th Shyamkumar philosophises.
Speaking during the first State Level Cultural open Competition organised by the Andro Kendra Development Organisation to coincide with the Milad-Un-Nabi at the Azad High School, the Deputy Speaker said that there is no religion which teaches and advocates vices.
He said that it is useless to worship without pure hearts.
Every follower of a religion must try to live an exemplary life.
Delivering his presidential address, Ahmad Ali said that every community must try to live peacefully with other communities.
Forty-eight competitors have registered in the competition.
