Imphal, October 22 2010:
The United Naga Council (UNC) has announced a 12-hour 'total bandh' in the districts of Chandel, Ukhrul and Tamenglong on October 25 demanding to expedite the ongoing 'Indo-Naga peace process'.
However, the UNC did not mention about Senapati district regarding the bandh, reports NNN.
According to the UNC, the bandh will begin from 6 a.m.of the day.
Meanwhile, the UNC said that it supports the peace process and appeals both the 'NSCN' and the Government of India to maintain sincerity and to adhere the 'agreed' ceasefire ground rules to facilitate and to create a conducive atmosphere in the talks.
