House informed of GM Changjou's arrest

MLA RK Anand during the Zero Hour informed the House that the Assistant Secretary Publicity GM Changjou has been traceless since he was arrested by Army personnel from Dimapur on August 18 .
Reminding the provision to produce an arrested person in front of a Magistrate, RK Anand drew attention of the Chief Minister on the matter and violation of human rights and constitution's provision.
MLA M Prithibiraj appealed for an ambulance for the Community Health Centre of Moirang Sub Division and shifting the centre to an alleviated area since the centre often flooded during the monsoon season.
MLA Th Shyamkumar of Andro A/C informed the House that the Moirangpurel UJB School which has 360 students has no teacher.
Local people are teaching the students.
Moreover the uniforms distributed under the SSA scheme do not fit the students since they were made on an approximated single measurement.
O joy told the House that the state needs a powerful Excise and Home Department to tackle drug abuse in the state which has become one of the major issues in the state.
In such situation it would be unwise for the government to cut down the personnel of Excise.
Dr Ng Bijoy also told the House that there are many elder persons in the Excise department which would be unfit for the Disaster Response Force since it is an active force.
On the other hand it is very important to reactivate the Excise Department by providing proper and adequate equipments.
