Down to dusk bandh calls on Mayai Lambi

Local MLA and councilors were to conduct a search inside the 12 Marath Li post at Mayang Imphal today as whereabouts of two local youths including a national volleyball player are still remain unknown.
Meanwhile, a JAC formed in connection with the missing of the two youths after allegedly picked up by security force from their respective home at Top Siphai has called down to dusk bandh along the Mayai Lambi tomorrow (from 6 am to 6 pm) as part of pressing the authority to find the missing youths.
Earlier in the day, around 200 people mostly women in three buses and a truck coming towards to lodge complaint with the Chief Minister and Governor was blocked by the Wangoi police in front of the PS and allowed only 16 representatives to proceed to Imphal.

They submitted memoranda containing JAC's demands to the Chief Minister and Governor.
The set 3 pm of today as deadline to produce the two missing youths or know their whereabouts.
They could meet both the CM and Governor.
CM is out of station in New Delhi to attend annual plan meeting with Planning Commission of India while no appointment could get with regard to meeting with Governor.
Meanwhile, with a strong apprehension of keeping conceal the two missing youths, local people stormed the 12 Maratha Li post at Chabungbam Company for the second time today around 3 pm.
They remained protested at the gate of the post till local MLA, Salam Joy arrived there.
The MLA with some councilors of Thongkhong Luxmi Bazar Nagar Panchayat was allowed to enter inside the post and conduct a search.
They conducted the search including the toilets and kitchen but in vain.
After returning from the post, a public meeting was held at Thongkhong Luxmi Bazar with Yumnam Lairenjao and Chabungbam Ahongjao in the dais and resolved to impose the down to dusk bandh along the Mayai Lambi.
The meeting further resolved to file a Habeas corpus to the High Court.
