Tata Magic falls into river, two untraced

Imphal, May 26 2011:
A red coloured Tata Magic carrying passengers fell into the Imphal River in an accident at Wangoi Leiphrakpam Khuningthek area today.
Two passengers could not be found as police, Assam Rifles personnel and firemen conducted massive search for the two person.
Police believed that the two person could have died.
The two person who remain untraced were identified as Moirangthem Parshuram (32) son of late Kesho of Haoreibi Makha Leikai and Khaidem Yaima (32) son of Kh Kalachand of Wangoi Mamang Khaidem Leikai.
Parshuram was driving the vehicle.
According to witnesses two Tata Magic vehicles of white and red colour came fast from Chongtham turning point side.
When the red vehicle tried to overtake up from the white vehicle, the red vehicle fell in the river since the area which the driver was trying to overtake was found to be another turning point along the road.
Police picked up the vehicle.
Unfortunately the driver the other victim who is a mechanic in a workshop could not be found despite of massive search conducted by security personnel.
Local MLA Salam Joy also arrived at the scene and reviewed the search operation.
