CRPF launches Langjing Angels

The Langjing Angels was launched by CWWA (R) CRPF, Imphal with aim to extend to support to destitute, orphans and was flagged off by RC Tayal in a colourful function held on March 21 at Auditorium Group Centre, CRPF, Imphal.
The function was attended by Sh RC Tayal IGP, Manipur and Nagaland sector, senior officers, CWWA members, officers personnel and their families and girls of the hope home Imphal (Children Home for girls) of Tera Leikai, Imphal.
The programme was launched with a view to contribute it bit for betterment of the society especially the destitute and orphan and mainly help underprivileged children, a statement of the DIGP, GC, CRPF Imphal said.
The main aim of this initiative is to contribute for betterment of the society in general and the destitute, orphans and underprivileged children in particular.
During the functions, officers, SO's and men donated cloths, books, money, rice, sugars etc.
for further distribution to underprivileged.
RC Tayal, IGP M&N MS Raghav, DIGP, Range Imphal and PS Rajora, DIGP, group centre CRPF, Imphal also spoke on the occasion and stressed the needs to contribute to the downtrodden.
Girls from Hope Centre also presented songs on the occasion, the statement added.
