Imphal, November 24: Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh today inaugurated the newly constructed temple of Shri Beikunthanathjee inside the temple complex of Shri Shri Govindajee here.

The temple of Beikunthanathjee had been donated by Thounaojam Joykumar Singh s/o late Thounaojam Kunjakishore Singh of Nambram Chuthek, Imphal.

Speaking at the occasion, Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh who is also the president of Shri Shri Govindajee Temple Board said India as well as Manipur is a secular State where every citizen has the liberty to profess any religion of their choice.

The Chief Minister also presented an Abhinandan Patra from the side of the Temple Board to Thounaojam Joykumar in appreciation of his gesture in donating the construction of the temple of Shri Beikunthanathjee.

Senior member of the Temple Board and Ex-MP Y Yaima also spoke at the occasion attended by members of the Temple Board and other devotees.
