Imphal, March 23: The Poumai tribe is organising a cultural festival at Senapati district headquarters from March 24 to 26.The main objective in organising the festival is to preserve and promote the art and culture, promotion of various indigenous products including food and drinks and promotion of tourism.

Consequently the main features of the festival would include exhibition and sale of Poumai indigenous products and demonstration of indigenous games, music, folk songs, competition, etc.

In view of this, all have been appealed not to call bandh or blockade from March 23 to 26.
