Academy clarifies on student clash

Imphal, September 25 2011:
With regard to the news report about a clash among students of Peace and Freedom Academy, Thoubal Haokha as published in today's issue, Principal of the Academy Jotin Salam has clarified that altogether five students including Ngamsanglen Haokip (class X) were hurt in the clash.
All the injured students were taken to Thoubal District Hospital and given necessary treatment.
Following advice from doctors, the students were allowed to join the routine classes after some medication as none of the injuries were of serious nature.
As per the hostel management policy of the school, the school authority decided not to call any guardian of the students as their injuries were minor ones.
After taking up some disciplinary actions against all the students involved in the clash, the students were given necessary advice and they were allowed to join class, the Principal clarified.
