The JAC against the killing of Ch Sanjit has hailed the BJP Parliamentary Team for sharing the grief of the victims' families of Khwairamband incident and assuring to bring the matter in the Parliament.
A statement issued by the JAC today stated that the steps taken by the BJP in this regard is well exemplary.
It said the step taken by the BJP is worthy for all political parties to tread on.
The statement also hails the efforts of the MPP regarding the Khwairamband incident.
It also holds the Congress MLAs responsible for the non-resignation of CM from his post despite intense agitation for the same.
The JAC also demanded the withdrawal of the oath taken by MP Meinya and Minister Biren at the foot of Shahid Minar while appealing all parties to restrain from doing the same in future.
The statement further flayed the incident wherein some police commandos strangled a 36 year old housewife Laishram (O) Shitajini (Tiji) while she was washing clothes at Khurai Sajor Leikai.
It also denounced the opening of gunshots at residential areas.
The JAC sees the incidents as invitation to further aggravate the tense situation.
At the same time, the JAC also heralds the act of Independent MLA from Tadubi Kendra, Raina, who walked straight to Sanjit's residence and shares the grief of the family members and doles out financial assistance.
