Imphal, October 16 2008:
Manipur University Tribal Students' Union (MUTSU) has notified to all the tribal students of the University they would be intimated on the positive/negative response from the authorities concerned on whether they should return or not to return to the University.
Till then all the tribal students should not attend classes or stay in the campus, a statement jointly signed by MUTSU president Sonthang Haokip and general secretary Dinjangam Riamei said.
Any tribal student found violating the consensus wishes of the tribal community would be condemned as anti-tribal and should be ready to bear all the consequences, it warned.
