Water connection to resume from new pipelines

As shifting and restoration of distribution pipelines along Wahengbam Leikai to Keishampat and Wahengbam Leikai to Tera is nearing completion, supply of water to eligible consumers will be resumed from the new pipelines, said a Public Health Engineering Department statement issued by its EE, Water Supply Maintenance Division-I .
Furthering informing that an exercise consisting of on the spot verification, reconnection, regularisation of consumers and collection of water tariff will be conducted in the areas of Wahengbam Leikai to Moirang Leirak machin and from Wahengbam Leikai to Kangabam Leirak machin from March 4 onwards, the PHED statement also conveyed to the eligible consumers to furnish connection order along with latest tax receipt as well as to arrange 12.50 mm GI pipes for reconnection.
Official staff for collection of water rent will be available at Wahengbam Leikai Lairembi and Ebudhou Khamlangba Laikol Moirang Leirak from March 4 to 10 during office hours, it added.
