Imphal, March 23: Chatric Khunou village chairman has urged for releasing necessary fund for construction of the road from Sahamphung to Chahong under BADP for the financial year 2005-06 to 2006-07.In a memorandum submitted to the Deputy Commission of Ukhrul district, Chatric Khunou village chairman KS Mahai said the first phase of the work programme had been implemented by IFAD and necessary fund should be released for continuation of the programme from Sahamphung to Chahong.

In another memorandum, Sambu Raiping Long, Ukhrul district pointed out that construction of road between Chingsui and Kachouphung village under BADP, 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 had been taken and completed by IFAD upto Matiyang.

Necessary fund for executing the remaining work should release at the earliest possible and entrusted IFAD for the task, the memoranda urged.
