Crafty women collect Rs 11.8 lakh plus with job allurement

A gang of crafty women had allegedly collected Rs 11,80,000 from four job aspirant young women by alluring that they will get jobs at JNIMS hospital, Porompat.
According to a press release issued by the IPR secretary of People's Action for National Democratic Movement (PANDM) conveyed the above statement.
It further mentioned that PANDM has received a number of complaints from the young citizens of Manipur mentioning that they have given their money to some group of crafty people who have nexus with bureaucracy and ministers in the hope of getting jobs, but they neither get the jobs nor their money return back.
In this condition, PANDM renders service to help the victims by arranging discussion sessions at the office of PANDM between the parties and also PANDM officials.
Thus, the job aspirants get back their money.
In such backdrop, PANDM has received such similar complaints from more than 200 individuals from whom lakh of rupees have been collected by RK Sumitra Devi, w/o N Ibopishak Singh of Sagolband Meino Leirak Machin and her party Irengbam Ongbi Tampakleima Devi of Kongba Nandeibam Leikai, it said.
Out of the complaints, PANDM took the complaints of L Swarnalata Devi, Kh Premibala Devi, Kh Tombimacha Devi and N Premibala Devi of Khonghampat Awang Leikai as a case and summoned Sumitra and Tampakleima at the office of PANDM.
Accordingly, Sumitra and Tampakleima had given their willingness in Promissory Notes on December 13 and 15, 2013 that the amount of Rs 11.8 lakh which was collected from the four women will be paid back on January 10, 2014.However, the duo neither visited PANDM office nor paid the said amount to the victim four young ladies, it added.
So, PANDM has openly asked RK Sumitra Devi and Irengbam Ongbi Tampakleima to attend PANDM office on August 2, 2014 at 2 pm, it informed and further conveyed that if they fail to do so, they will face more stern steps.
