Imphal, January 31 2009:
The villagers of 63 villages under Saikul, Phungyar, Heirok, Wangkhem and Keirao Assembly Constituencies have urged for development of the roads and bridges connecting these areas in tune with the changing time.
Addressing a press conference jointly convened by Rural Upliftment Federation (RUF) and Comprehensive Action for Rural Development Services (CARDS) at CTS campus in Shungreiphai today afternoon, RUF joint secretary ST Thainlam Vaiphei informed that though falling under five different Assembly Constituencies, these villages are part Senapati and Ukhrul district.
