To commemorate the 154th death 'anniversary of Maharaja Narasingha who took a vital role in saving Manipur from the disaster of Seven Years Devastation, Maharaja Narasingha Memorial Committee would be observing National Dedication Day on April 11.Apart from offering floral tribute to those brave sons and daughters of Manipur who have dedicated their lives for the welfare of Manipur society and its people, the Committee would also be presenting Maharaja Narasingh Award to those selected persons who have made a name for themselves in the field of culture, agriculture police service and education to mark the occasion.
Phukhrambam Natek Singh of Lilong Chajing has been selected for honoring with the cultural award, Waikhom Jiten Singh of Pakhangkhong Leirak, Thoubal Achouba with the Agricultural award, SI Md Jaheruddin, RO to SP, Thoubal as his distinction in police service and Maibam Dorendro Singh of Moirangkhom Chingakham Leirak for his contribution towards the cause of education.
