The KLO/KLA regretting loss of lives of its cadres in the past few months dismissed statements issued by certain individuals posing as KLO/KLA activists which was published in State dailies in the July 28 editions under the headline 'KLO/KLA cautions'.
A release issued by information and publicity wing of KLO/KLA Armstrong Kuki contended that the organisation neither have any cadre called Timothy Kuki nor is Malsawm Kuki associated with it as the latter had already fled.
"The unfortunate incident near Bongyang village on July 24 was initiated by one or two cadres who deployed some civilians in and around the camp, and the incident and the name of Timothy Kuki was different stories and not related to us in any way," maintained Armstrong.
While conveying solidarity to grief of the bereaved family members particularly death of a woman in the July 24 incident, the KLO/KLA release further asked those anti-Kuki nationals involved in the incident to surrender without further delay.
