Imphal, April 12 2011:
A man and a married woman having three children have been banished from their locality after they were caught in compromising position.
Moreover, their houses have been dismantled by their own families.
Amom Nanao (26) of Taothong Khunou under Lamshang police station in Imphal West district and Kshetrimayum (O) Ibemcha (34) of the same locality were found engaging in sexual act at the latter's house last morning by some women of the locality.
As the women went away to inform the local elders, Ibemcha locked his house from outside and fled away.
Besides running a grocery store, Ibemcha used to sell liquor at her home.
Sensing presence of somebody inside the house, the local people broke open the door of the house.
As they suspected, Nanao was found hiding under a bed.
Nanao was led away by his family after assuring the local people that they would produce Nanao yesterday afternoon.
But in the night it was discovered that Nanao had brought a woman and they had eloped to Lamdeng.
Nanao was nabbed by Taothong villagers the same night.
The local people asked the families of both Nanao and Ibemcha to dismantle their houses before the houses were destroyed by the villagers.
Accordingly, the two houses were dismantled this morning.
Moreover, both Nanao and Ibemcha have been banished from the locality according to a common verdict.
However, the villagers have decided to give shelter to Ibemcha's husband and their children at the village.
Police have pulled up Nanao at about 10.30 this morning.
