Imphal, June 04 2009:
In a major breakthrough, personnel of 5 Assam Rifles have arrested 13 militants of the newly formed UG group called Manmasi Christian Army (MCA) including its chief from Bhuvan Ridge in Cachar, Assam, reports our Jiribam correspondent.
Two SBBL guns, one pistol, one mobile phone handset, one still camera and some black dresses have been recovered from the possession of the arrested militants.
The arrested chief of the 6 month old outfit is identified as Lalmathoi Pulamte (38) of Lungthulien of Tipaimukh sub-division in Churachandpur district.
All the arrested 13 militants have been handed over to Somai PS in Cachar, Assam.
