Imphal, April 26 2010:
The KCP has claimed that it had no hand in the killing Lairenlakpam Ibomcha of Lamboikhul Awang Leikai at his own house by some unidentified armed persons on the night of April 20, Tabungba Meetei of the information and public relations department of the outfit has clarified.
In a statement, Tabungba said that it time for all those who are misusing the name of the revolutionary movement and extorting money and terrorising the people to be sent to the graveyard.
Any revolutionary group which cannot work for the welfare of the people should be considered as the enemy of the people.
Tabungba further observed that in a pluralistic society, the decision of a handful could never be regarded as the decision of the whole and it calls for a collective decision.
The decision of a handful of people, even though it may have come from elderly individuals should be laughed off as immature decision.
Decrying indifferent attitude to the complaint of the people against closure of the Porompat-JN Hospital road in connection with the developmental work of JNIMS, the outfit has called upon the labourers and the contractors engaged in the construction work of JNIMS to stop their activities at once.
Otherwise, it may lead to unwanted consequences, Tabungba said, adding that if the Health Minister could not think about the welfare of the people, then all those related would also suffer.
