Protest against detention of the four AMADA activists continues at different places today.
Meira Paibis of Takhel and Sanjenbam staged a protest sitting at Takhel Panthoibi Keithel demanding immediate release of the imprisoned AMADA activists.
At the protest venue, 70 litres of liquor seized by AMADA Takhel unit were also consigned to flames.

Similar protest sittings were also staged at Lamlai Chalou Keithel and Nongdam Keithel.
Later, all the protesters of the different venues assembled together at lamlai Chalou Keithel and set ablaze effigies of Chief Minister O Ibobi, Health Minister Ph Parijat and OC of Lamlai police station.
Then the protesters march towards Lamlai PS but they were dispersed from there by police.
Meanwhile separate press releases issued by the Chingmeirong Maning Mamang Nupi Kanglup Association, Ahongshangbam Leikai Yaiphakol Nupi Marup, Chingamakha Liwa Road, Network for Social Upliftment Wangkhem, Women Development Organisation Phoudel Mamang Leikai and Academy of Martial Arts and Cultural Organisation Phoudel pledged support to all forms of agitation that may be launched for immediate and unconditional release of the arrested AMADA activists.
