On the occasion of 29th raising day of Revolutionay Government of Kangleipak Communist Party which was celebrated on April 14, its general secretary Khamba Luwancha has appealed for joint efforts towards realising the dreams of its founder leaders even
as its information secretary in-charge cum department of fund raiser in-charge Pamen Meitei distributed aids to the children homes and handicapped centres.
In his address to the people, Khamba Luwancha recalled that KCP was founded on April 14, 1980 with Baji Ibopishak as president with the main objective of regaining lost independence and bringing about development in the State.
However, after the death of Baji Ibopishak, some self-styled leaders who could not see beyond their narrow outlook caused misundertanding among the comrades leading to factionalism.
Inspite of such setbacks, the party has reconsolidated its position along with appointing Tabungba Meetei as the party president and forged ahead to the path of shown by its departed leaders, Khamba Luwancha said, while appealing to all the comrades for joining hands once again and work towards realisation of the dreams that the founding leaders of the party had.
On the other hand, in connection with its raising day celebration, information secretary in-charge cum department of fund raiser in-charge of the Revolutionary Government of Kangleipak Party Pamen Meitei has reportedly distributed aids among the children homes and handicapped centres.
According to a statement issued by Pamen Meitei himself, 7 bags of rice containing 100 kgs and 10 blankets were presented to Children Home at Tera, six bags of rice containing 100 kgs and 5 blankets to Children Home at Duelahlane, another six bags of rice containing 100 kgs to Children Home at Lei-Ingkhol and 5 bags of rice containing 100 kgs each to Handicapped Centre at Changangei and Handicapped Centre at Takyelpat respectively.
