Imphal, November 11:
Demanding release of pending october salary within November 15, the RIMS and Hospital Non-Teaching Employees' Welfare Association, Imphal has threatened to resort to ceasework agitation from November 16 onwards in case the Association's demand is not honoured.
Decision to launch the agitation was adopted at the November 9 general body meeting of the Association, said a release while contending that administrative inefficiency of the RIMS authority had constrained that body to take the stir programme.
The public may question resorting to such agitation for salary delay of merely 15-20 days but incompetency of RIMS authority had caused inordinate delay to release the salary sanction of Ministry of DONER, claimed the Association.
The meeting also resolved not to endorse alleged signature campaign for regularisation of employees engaged on contract basis in the institute, it added.
