Kohima, August 09:
The NSCN (K) has given a clarion call to leaders of Naga National Council (NNC) to be prepared to stand together with the NSCN (K) to defend the sovereign rights of the Nagas.
In an open letter to NNC leaders, the outfit's Deputy Kilonser, Ministry of Home (Kilo) Affairs, Y Wangtin Naga, told the NNC leaders "we must be one in defence of Sovereign Nagaland" from the jaws of adversaries.
The NSCN (K) leader pointed out that the declaration of indefinite ceasefire between the NSCN (IM) and Government of India is a clear indication that the NSCN (IM) will accept an agreement within the Constitution of India.
"Therefore we must be ready to face any situation or eventualities.
This Th Muivah group always boasts themselves that their dialogue is at Prime Ministerial level, but has spent their ten years time with Padmanabaiah, a retired bureaucrat.
They will achieve nothing than surrender before the Govt of India by accepting an agreement under certain terms and conditions within the Indian Constitution," it said.
The NSCN (K) leader made it clear that whereas the outfit, under the leadership of SS Khaplang and N Kitovi, has formally observed ceasefire with the Indian Army, it will not enter into dialogue with GOI unless it washes its hands and back out from terrorists' clutches.
"The NSCN (K) will enter into political dialogue only when both the Prime Minister of India and Mynamar agrees to sit together in the presence of the third party (parties).
The Nagas have nothing to do with the Indian Constitution, because it has its own Constitution (Yehzabo) framed before the Indian Constitution," it said.
The NSCN (K) leader also asserted that the case of Indo-Naga issue is Indian aggression and invasion of free Nagaland.
Making it clear that India must know how to respect one's neighbours (free Nations), the NSCN (K) said Nagas do not seek self determination because it became Sovereign Nation one day ahead of India's independence.
"The case of Indian aggression and invasion of free Nagaland had been misused by Th Muivah for his integration and affiliation.
The same group befooled the Nagas by using the names of non-existent organizations such as NISC, NSG, etc., etc.
These groups have nothing to do with Naga people's struggle for Sovereignty, because they can do nothing for the Nagas.
Today the Naga people appreciates Th Muivah for admission into UNPO, but Naga case needs to be admitted only into UNO as Dr AZ Phizo tried during his lifetime and it will definitely be achieved," the NSCN (K) statement added.
