Ten social and voluntary organizations under the banner of All Kakching Khunou United clubs Organization (Akuco) have expressed strong resentment at the reinstatement of Kh Gokulchand as principal of kakching Khunou College.

Joining the press briefing Akuco executive member Th robin reconciled that the college governing body after coming across the fund embezzlement by Gokulchand suspended him on August 23, 2002.A five member enquiry committee constituted by the governing body also authenticated in its investigation report the corruption charges framed against Gokulchand, he continued.
However, a day before the enquiry committee report was forwarded to the Director of Education (U) and Higher Education State authorities reinstated Kh Gokulchand as Principal of the same college from where he was unceremoniously sent off, contended Robin.
With such serious charges against Gokulchand being known by every concerned person the State Government order for posting him at the same institution tantamount to undermining the aspiration and desire of Kakching Khunou public to establish a higher education institute with its head bearing clean image, observed the executive member.
Not only will Gokulchand be socially boycott- ed but the Kakching Khunou public would impose bandh in case State Govt do not revoke the posting order at the earliest.
On the other hand, the principal-in-charge P Ibetombi disclosed that ever since Gokulchand was reappointed as the principal the incumbent attended college for only five days listing them as February 12, June 16 & 14, July 7 and 9.Ibetombi said she herself is caught in confusion as official communications are directed through her even though the State Govt had appointed Gokulchand as the Principal.
Conveying the sentiment of the governing body the principal-in-charge said as already insisted Gokulchand should repay whatever amount has been misused after which she would step down from the present post without any hesitation.
