ANSAM questions NSCN (K)

Condemning the alleged murder of Naga students' leader Chunthuigai Kamei by NSCN (K) on August 17, All Naga Student's Association Manipur (ANSAM) questioned 'Where is our security when a student leader was murdered in such a manner without giving any prior warning' .
In a statement issued by its publicity wing, ANSAM categorically statement that killing of Chunthuigai Kamei, State Secretary of Zeliangrong Student's Unions Manipur (ZSUM) on 17th August 2012 at Nungkao Village by NSCN (K) cannot be acceptable so easily by mere justification made in some dailies.
Terming the murder as 'cold blooded', ANSAM pointed out that at the funeral service of the late student's leader on August 18; Zeliangrong civil societies adopted a five-point.
Again, a 7-point of term and conditions was placed before the party concerned on August 21.But no positive response/ justifications have come forward till date.
"ANSAM and its constituent units shall always honour, strengthen, uphold and safeguard the interest of the public and the students in particular.
Any individual(s) or organization(s) that goes against the wishes of the people shall be treated seriously," the statement said, while appealing to all concerned to comply immediately with the declaration and terms and conditions to restore people's confidence.
Meanwhile, condemning the murder of Chunthuigai Kamei by NSCN (K) in a separate statement, Convenor of Zeliangrong Bandi Manipur, Keirithon Thiumei has also asked the underground group to come out with clear-cut reasons why the student leader was assassinated within 25th August, 2012 .
